Madeline A Morgan

Mrs. Morgan was born July 5, 1929 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Arthur O. and Velma White Peters and passed away November 22, 2017, in Longview, Texas.

Mrs. Morgan lived and worked in New York for 26 years until retiring to Longview in 1989. She enjoyed teaching the Youth Bible Study Classes in both New York and Longview. She also enjoyed

playing bridge, and played as often as she could. She liked to travel in fact she and Billie made at least two trips a year for the last 25 years. She loved people especially children and she loved her church, but most of all she loved her family.

Madeline is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Ronald R. Morgan, and her brother, A. Leon Peters. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of over 69 years, Billie J. Morgan; a daughter, Deborah La Greca; her brother in law Jim Morgan and his wife Shiela as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

The family would like to express many thanks to Buckner Harbor and Visiting Angels, and well as the many caregivers that took care of Madeline throughout her time there. In lieu of the usual floral remembrances, the family suggests that memorials be made to Longview Church of Christ.
