Kathie McFarlin DeBaca

Kathie was born on February 27, 1957 in Longview, Texas to Keifer McFarlin and Gerldine Phillips McFarlin. Kathe attended and graduated White Oak High School. During her time at White Oak High School she was active with the Majorette Team. After graduating she attended Kilgore College. Kathie met and married her husband William Thomas DeBaca Sr. Kathie worked as Warehouse Management for Bearing Service. She belonged to the Alzheimer Association and The Humane Society of the U.S., organizations she strongly believed in. When Kathe wasn't working she was enjoying her hobbies which included cooking, baking, playing and entertaining her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Kathie is preceded in death by her parents Keifer and Gerladine McFarlin, and siblings Phil, Marcell, and Robinell.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William Thomas DeBaca Sr.; son William DeBaca and wife Desiree; daughter Nicole DeBaca; grandchildren Brett DeBaca and wife Savannah, Broc Debaca and wife Bailey, McKenzie Kirk, Makenna Kirk, and Lake Higginbotham; great grandchildren Emmalynn, Elaina, Emmitt, and Karlie DeBaca; siblings Carol Gillard and Kevin McFarlin; and friends Caron Searcy, Viki McAlexander, Diane Huffman, and Jeri Huffman.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Heather Brooke, Christus Home Health Nurse, RoseAnn Frangione, Caron Searcy, Viki McAlexander, and Diane Huffman for their loving and caring support.

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, TX 75604.
