Dorothy J. Conley

Loving mother, sister, daughter, and wife. She was adopted by Wayne McBee who she loved and cherished as a father. Jo held many different jobs throughout her lifespan and her profession was a hairdresser. While in Hairdressing school, through her teacher and friend Barbara Garner (Duane’s Sister) she met Duane Conley who she married Aug 31, 1969. They were married till Duane’s passing In Nov 1991. She never remarried and is now by his side again in heaven. Dorothy Jo had 3 sons; Heath, Sean and Allen of which she was very proud of for all becoming fine upstanding young men. In addition, she had a Son Michael D Conley, Duane’s oldest son that looked to Dorothy Jo as his mother as she considered him her son. Dorothy Jo had one daughter that she never got to meet. Dorothy was young and times were different than today. Circumstances prevented Dorothy from keeping her and had to place her daughter up for adoption. Dorothy Jo would tear up and say how much she loved her even though she never got to see her.

Dorothy Jo is survived by her beloved partner in crime for 14 years, Penny (her dog), sister Mary Ann, son Heath and wife Janet of Wichita Falls, Tx, son Sean, wife Sofia and granddaughter Samantha of Corpus Christi, Tx, Son Allen of Diana, Tx, Son Michael of Tyler, Tx, Nieces and Nephews Lewis & Larissa, Yvonne, Trudy Jo & Kevin, Clay & Gina, Jerry Lynn & Diana. She was preceded in death by her parents Roylene & Wayne Mcbee, husband Duane Conley, Twin Sisters June and Joan, and Niece Bobby Jo.
