Tim Robert Perry passed away on October 30, 2016 in the home he loved, waking up next to the woman he adored. Tim was gifted to the world and a loving couple, Mary and Sisto Perry of Chicago, Illinois on October 28, 1954. Tim attended college and graduated with a business degree. Tim put his education to use owning and operating a doughnut shop in Loveland, CO. Tim was also employed by IBM in Chicago and later transferring to IBM in Boulder, CO where he was employed for thirty years. Tim fell in love with Colorado and there he met his soulmate. Tim was a loving, intelligent and giving man with a no-nonsense approach to life, he was always quick to offer help or advice even at the cost of his own well-being. Tim instantly shared a connection with every soul that crossed his path, including his beloved dogs: Sampson, Delilah, Lacey and Tuffy. Tim enjoying investing in his spare time and spent some time as a volunteer firefighter for Big Elk Fire Department. Tim spent his well-earned retirement side by side with his loving wife cruising through Alaska and traveling to numerous other attractions across the country. Tim touched all around him and was an exceptional husband, father, son and above all friend and will be profoundly missed. Tim is survived by his loving wife Winnie Perry of Lyons, CO; one son Joel Burbas of Dacono, CO, one daughter Mandy Burbas of Boulder, CO, and one brother Sisto Perry and his wife of Chicago, IL, one sister Nikki of Chicago, IL and his cousins and best friends Fred and Laura Schindler of Las Vegas, NV.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place from 1pm - 3pm, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Firestation in Big Elk Meadows.
