Tanner, born in Loveland, Colorado to Trevor Banderet and Tamber Huggins, grew up with his brother Travis, and attended schools in Erie and the North Denver area.
He learned to smile early –and his smile served him well his entire life. He had an infectious laugh, a tender heart and a warm smile for everyone he called family or friend. Tanner had a knack for saying just the right thing at just the right time – something always appreciated by those who knew him. It’s also fair to say Tanner’s zest for life created his ‘live in the moment’ philosophy and gave him both the courage and the enthusiasm to try so many different things in his young life. He was a natural athlete who made so many sports appear easy; BMX biking, wakeboarding, snowboarding, wrestling, baseball and football. Tanner absolutely loved dogs – especially his own dog, Kush. He also had an artistic side, really enjoyed cooking and loved hanging out with his friends. He spent a lot of time camping and boating with his family and especially appreciated family vacations to Arizona, Lake Powell, California, Las Vegas and North Carolina.
Tanner is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Frank and Nana Banderet of Berthoud, Colorado; grandmother, Kathryn Banderet of Tucson, Arizona; Uncle Tyrone Banderet of Berthoud, Colorado; Aunt Kim Bolster of Omaha Nebraska and Uncle Steven Bolster of Medford Oregon. He is survived by his parents, Tamber Huggins, Trevor Banderet and Step-Mother Yvonne Banderet, his siblings, Travis, Reed and Meghan, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, a niece, cousins Kali and Lexi, many other cousins and countless friends who will all miss him more than words can express.
“The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.”
