Steven Travis Williams

Steven "Travis" Williams of Longmont, Colorado died unexpectedly, and went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 23, 2023. His wife and those who loved him are heartbroken and shocked by his sudden death.

Travis resided in Longmont for the last 8 1/2 years with his wife Erin and their two children, Montana and Summit. Travis was born in Butler, Missouri on October 13, 1987. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies and Biblical Languages from Calvary University in Kansas City, Missouri. Travis met the love of his life, his wife Erin in 2014 on a work trip to Colorado while dining out at a local restaurant. Travis proposed to Erin on February 14, 2015. The two exchanged their wedding vows and were united in marriage at Trinity United Methodist Church in Denver, Colorado on September 5, 2015.

Travis was currently in seminary school at the Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, working on his Master's Degree, and was employed as a Supervisor for Calfrac Well Services where he was loved and highly respected by his crew. He had very strong values, and was well liked by everyone due to his robust work ethic and integrity. Travis had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge when it came to studying Theology and Philosophy. He loved sharing his thoughts with his crew at the frac sites in Wyoming, often with a sense of humor in his teachings. His legacy will carry on in our hearts and minds reminding us to choose to live a life of meaningful acts of service like Christ did for us.

Travis was an incredibly stoic, fun-loving, hard-working, loyal and devoted husband to Erin, and a protective and loving father to their children Montana and Summit. He enjoyed historic home restoration projects with Erin, working with the local Historic Preservation Committee, loved trips to the mountains, working out at the gym, Bible Study and Men's Conferences, working on his 1946 Ford truck, cooking and eating, and loved to play chess and have spirited debates involving political and religious topics with his son Summit.

Travis and Erin own three Miniature Schnauzers, Frodo, Goose, and Finley, who would often sit at the front window of the house waiting for Travis to arrive home from a hitch in Wyoming. They loved to rough house with Travis when he walked in the front door, while howling in celebration.

Travis was loved by many people of all walks of life, and taken away from us far too soon.

"Perhaps death doesn't mean goodbye, but rather, until we meet again in Heaven." The blessings that Travis brought into our lives will live on with us forever.
