She was born December 18, 1928 in St. Louis Missouri, the only child of Dorothy Hall and Howard Wolfe.
While attending the University of Colorado, she met her husband, John Garnett Zisch. She and her CU football star lived a huge life; they raised kids south of Chicago, outside of New York City, and near the beaches of Southern California. They ate in the world’s greatest restaurants, enjoyed Julie Andrews and Richard Burton perform on Broadway, watched Mickey Mantle hit home runs in Yankee Stadium, listened to music in Chicago and regularly took their family to Disneyland. They eventually ended up back in Colorado where their love story began. After all these wonderful adventures, their five kids knew that Mom and Dad’s favorite thing to do on earth with their family was to pitch a tent on the banks of the Taylor River in Taylor Park, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Garnett Zisch. She is survived by her five children: Lynn Zisch Montgomery, Jennifer Abell Weidemaier, John Howard Zisch, William Michael Zisch and Kate Zisch Grey, 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
