Mary Angel Romero

Mary was born on December 13, 1960 in Houston, TX to Charlie and Ofilia (Gutierrez) Garza. The family moved to Colorado in 1969.

Mary attended Longmont High school, worked at MiniScribe leading their manufacturing department.

Her side hustle was selling the best Tamales.

The most important thing for her was family get togethers where she got to show off her many talents. Which were not limited to cooking, fishing, camping, and coming in 1st place at a watermelon race. Later in life Mary had the blessed pleasure of becoming a Nana, she may not always be present with all her grandchildren but when she had a chance to shop for toys she always wanted the coolest ones for them, she would keep nerf guns around the home for her kids to always come over and enjoy a good gun fight!

Mary loved her Denver Broncos and a nice cold beer.

She will be forever missed!

Mary is survived by her children Alfredo (Angela) Romero, Ofilia (Jaime) Barba and Johnny

(Cilbia) Romero; Her Grandchildren Angel, Joshua, Christian, Luke, Paris, Isaiah (Destony),

Briseis, Ramon, Jeremiah, Gabriel, and Mariah; Her great granddaughters Izabelle, Nevaeh and

Elsie; Her sibling’s Charlie (Elena) Garza, Ruben (Marisol) Garza; Her Nieces and Nephews; Skyler, Charlie (Kathrin), Susan (Ramon), Maria (George), Ana Alicia (Josh), Ruben, Crystal (Adrian), Sarah (Dale), Blanca (Keith).

Great Nieces and Nephews; Mya, Eli, Christian, Angelica, Lainy, Josiah, Mariana, Ralph, Jorge, Oscar, Anali, Damien, Brooklyn, Leonardo Roman, Aaron, Ayden, Adrian, Luciano, Aria, Rowland, Kaylie, Sigurd.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Johnny, Ora, Ralph, Bobby, and her niece Sherly.

A graveside committal service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday July 6, 2023 at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
