Kenneth "Ken" Allen Austin

Kenneth Allen Austin of Mead, Colorado went home to be with the Lord on August 15, 2021, at the age of 67. He was born on March 9, 1954, in Denver, Colorado, the youngest of two sons, to Clyde and Louise Austin. He grew up in Deer Trail, Colorado until school age.

Kenneth attended Aurora Public Schools and graduated in 1972. He served in the United States Navy from 1973 to 1989. His favorite station to serve was NAS Whidbey Island, Washington. In 1974 Kenneth married the love of his life, Janice Bills in Aurora, Colorado. From this blessed union came three children, Benjamin, Nathan and Jennifer. After honorably being discharged from the Navy, the family moved to Skagit Valley, Washington where Kenneth attended college graduating with double associate degrees in computer repair and telecommunications.

Kenneth faithfully served his Lord until his disabilities prevented him. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Louise Austin, his brother Ron and sister-in-law Dee. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 46 years Janice, sons Benjamin (Brenda) Austin of Greeley, Colorado, and Nathan (Pamela) Austin of Denver, Colorado, Daughter Jennifer Austin of Denver, Colorado, grandsons Fischer and Trace Austin, and many extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 11, at 11:30 A.M. at the Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church in Longmont, Colorado.
