Heidi Joy Pearson of Louisville, CO went home to be with her Lord on, September 3, 2007. She was 50.Heidi was born on September 7, 1956 in Trimont, Minnesota to Robert Pearson and Jane Hoel Pearson. She grew up in Spencer, IA and moved to Estes Park in 1971, and graduated from Estes Park High in 1975 as the class Valedictorian. She received a BS Degree from Ft. Lewis College, Durango, CO and a MBA from the University of Colorado. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from C.U. in Boulder. On July 1, 1989, she married Mark Tatum in Boulder. She had lived in Louisville the past 25 years and was a devoted wife to Mark.She had been in Debt Management for a number of years. For 17 years she was with the University of Colorado and most recently had worked with Bonded Business and Services in Louisville.An animal lover, she cared for all and was particularly close to her dogs. Sentimental and nostalgic, she will be loved for being the consummate loyal friend. A voracious reader, she constantly devoured and shared books of all subjects and styles. Her middle name, Joy, signified what she brought to the lives of others.Preceding her in death was a sister Wendy Pearson in 1966.Surviving are her husband of Louisville, her parents of Loveland, three sisters, Debby Fredrick and her husband Bill of Loveland, Penny Pearson of Lafayette, and Nancy Gadsby and her husband Gary of Bellvue, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews, she was particularly close to Chelsea Fredrick, Mocha Solomon and Crail Solomon.A cremation has been entrusted to the Howe Mortuary, Longmont.Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 10, 2007 at the Boulder Valley Christian Church with Pastor Harvey Friesen officiating, 7100 S. Boulder Road in Boulder. Interment will occur in Minnesota at a later date.Contributions may be made to either the Boulder Humane Society or World Vision.
