Donna Marie Rademacher-Anderson, age 67, of Parker, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Donna was born April 16, 1956 to Louis Joseph Rademacher and Francis Joan (Cogburn) Rademacher in Longmont, Colorado.
Growing up in rural Weld County, Donna spent her days watching over some of her seven siblings, while her parents tended the farmlands. In 1974, Donna graduated from Longmont High School where she excelled in band and cheerleading. After High School, Donna began her long illustrious career in the Mortgage business where she held various titles and duties until her retirement in November 2022.
In December 1984, she helped with serving food at her cousin Stuarts wedding, where she met her future husband. One could say that they “fell” in love, after falling down a set of stairs together along with a family friend. It truly was love at first sight, and each knew they could and would build a beautiful future together. Marrying on June 24th, 1986, they started their journey and went on to have two daughters and move to Parker, CO. Donna and her family would often visit relatives in Longmont, CO on weekends and holidays. Family was a very important part of her life, and she always wanted to be close to her parents and siblings.
Throughout the years Donna enjoyed road trips to California and the sites and states along the way. She also loved fishing, camping, and going to Black Hawk to gamble. Playing cards, board games, and Wii golf and bowling were her favorite pastimes. One knew not to sit next to her for fear of the dreaded seven card to ‘take two’ in German Switch. Donna loved and was an avid collector of Beanie Babies, Carnival Glass, Swarovski Crystals, and anything Beagle related in honor of her beloved dogs, Xena and Gabby.
Watching her oldest daughter happily marry and then become a mother herself, Donna was gifted with a wonderful Grandson whom she doted on and loved helping with math. For her youngest daughter’s upcoming wedding, she had the pleasure of being in person to help pick out the perfect dress and excitedly helped with planning. Donna was beyond proud of her daughters, and the love that she had for her family was unparalleled; especially, her husband who was inseparable from her side for their 39 years together.
Donna was a practicing Catholic with Guardian Angels Church. Although she was not always able to attend mass in person; every Sunday she would watch the TV Homebound mass service and worship the Lord Jesus Christ.
She was often stubborn and strong-willed, but she was the most determined, gentle, soft, caring, and fun-loving person you could ever meet. Being a mentor, friend, best friend, Mother, Grandmother, and wife were hats that she proudly wore. All gravitated towards her and loved her dearly, and she will be unspeakably missed.
Donna is proceeded in death by her parents, sister (Mary Lucy Rademacher), and extended family.
She is survived by her husband William Anderson, daughter Paige Lamb (Keith), grandson Tyler, and daughter Bayleigh Anderson (Fiancé Kacey Ebel). Along with her brothers and sister: Michael Rademacher, (Vicki), Douglas Rademacher, (Jane), Richard Rademacher, (Sue), Dale Rademacher, (Karen), Dan Rademacher, (René), Roger Rademacher, (Nathan), and Denise Rademacher, (Matt), numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.
