Born on September 6, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, Dave's journey took him from the city to the serene landscape in Colorado where he made a lasting mark to many neighbors and friends.
Dave was a renowned figure in automotive repair, having established Alpha and Omega Repair shop in Boulder, Colorado. His legacy in the automotive world endures through his two sons, who continue to run the business with the same dedication and expertise as their father.
Beyond his professional life, Dave loved the outdoors, spending much time with his horses. He tamed a wild horse named Nevada, adding to his legacy as a modern-day cowboy. He was a true craftsman having built his home, barn and shed. He loved the peace and quiet and all the wildlife that surrounded his home.
Dave's spiritual life was deeply rooted in his faith. Having been saved in a Baptist church he went on to believing the Full Gospel. He shared his beliefs on a radio program and preached in a church in Dacono, Colorado. His faith was a cornerstone, guiding him throughout his life.
He leaves behind his daughter, Jessica Miceli and family in North Carolina, sons Eric Evans and family in Firestone, and Brett Evans and family in Ft Collins, Colorado. He has three grandchildren, Hannah Evans in Firestone, Brettley Evans in Colorado Springs, and Matthew Miceli in Boone, North Carolina. In addition, he has a sister and family in Longmont, Colorado, along with many nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his wife Patty, mother and father, brother and a sister who were waiting to receive him with open arms as he entered heaven.
A memorial service celebrating Dave's life will be held at the River Church in Lyons, Colorado on October 13, 2024. His life, marked by passion, faith, and community will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
