Chris Darrell Steinbach and Roxanna Ilean Steinbach

Chris Darrell Steinbach, age 76, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 22, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Chris was born on June 2, 1947 in Denver, Colorado to Jeanne Frances Phillips and Robert Martin Steinbach.

Chris grew up with his family in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. On September 26th, 1975, he married the love of his life, Roxanna “Turf” Steinbach in Holyoke, Colorado. Chris shared a wonderful life with Roxanna in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Chris is survived by his step-children, David Howard McCormick Jr (Dianna) and Yvonnie Roxanna McCormick, his grandchildren, Shawn Piantoni (Michele), Nicole McCormick, Shane Coberly (Courtney), Corey McCormick (Lauren) , Ethan McCormick, his great-grandchildren, Cedar Barnard, Kaden Coberly, Braydin McCormick, Ginevra Piantoni, Rylee Coberly, Ryland Piantoni, Beauden McCormick, his sister, Joni Maycumber (Ed) and nieces and nephews, Troy, Ian, and Quinn.

Roxanna Ilean Means (Steinbach), age 84, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 23, 2024 in Longmont, Colorado. Roxanna was born on December 5th, 1939 in Wilmington, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania to Lazena “Joan” Joanna Means and Robert Claire Sipe.

Roxanna was lovingly raised by her grandmother, Margaret McCurdy in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.

Roxanna married David Howard McCormick on June 24th, 1955. They owned a farm in Pennsylvania until they relocated to Haxtun, Colorado where they owned Haxtun Locker Plant. They were married until his death on June 12th, 1973.

On September 26th, 1975 she married Chris Darrell Steinbach in Holyoke, Colorado. Chris and Roxanne shared a wonderful life together in Albuquerque, New Mexico until his passing on January 22, 2024.

Roxanna is survived by her children, David Howard McCormick Jr (Dianna) and Yvonnie Roxanna McCormick, her grandchildren, Shawn Piantoni (Michele), Nicole McCormick, Shane Coberly (Courtney), Corey McCormick (Lauren) , Ethan McCormick, her great-grandchildren, Cedar Barnard, Kaden Coberly, Braydin McCormick, Ginevra Piantoni, Rylee Coberly, Ryland Piantoni, Beauden McCormick, her sister Carole Barber and Sister-in-law Joni Maycumber (Ed).
