Carolyn Ann Forbes, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021 in Longmont Colorado. Carolyn was a Colorado native who was born in Denver Colorado on April 9, 1938 to Carl Albert Johnson and Amelia (Powell) Johnson of Denver Colorado. Carolyn married Richard Earl Forbes of Canyon City Colorado on May 18, 1956.
Carolyn is survived by a host of family member that include her daughters Tamara Jean (Forbes) Enger of Longmont, Terry Lynn (Forbes) Robb of Buena Vista, and her son Richard Earl Forbes II of Austin Texas. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Richard Forbes, her daughter Stephanie Ann (Forbes) Darnell, her brother Carl Albert Johnson Jr. and sister Sally Jo (Johnson) Dunn. She will be missed dearly by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
