Beverly Jean Morgan

Beverly Morgan, 77, of Longmont, died August 6, 2010 at HospiceCare Center in Louisville, CO. Beverly was born July 23, 1933 in Lynch, Nebraska, the daughter of William Schiessler and Lucille Newman Schiessler. She married Ralph Vernon Morgan, Jr. on August 31, 1952 in Ainsworth, Nebraska. They moved to Longmont in 1959. Beverly was a devoted wife and mother, she kept the model and perfect home. In later years she and Ralph opened Creative Catering, where they started helping friends organize parties, to expand the scope of the business to provide for the community of Longmont and surrounding area.She was a member of Faith Community Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her time camping and fishing, Pinochle Club and Bridge Clubs. In recent years she enjoyed treating herself to periodically getting her nails done.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph in 2008 and her sister and brother-in-law Karleen and George Layh.Surviving are her two sons Bill Morgan and his wife Barbara of Wichita, KS and Kerry Morgan and his wife Marjorie of Pearland, TX, a daughter Shereen Madden and her husband Tim of Berthoud, 9 grandchildren Andrea Wilburn, Jeanne Dworak and her husband Anton, Sarah Neal and her husband Uriah, Joe Morgan, Liz Athey and her husband C.R., Anna Morgan and her significant other L.J. Jordan, Morgan Madden and Jeremy Smith. She is further survived by 6 great grandchildren; Naomi Lund, Jordan Smith, Alfred Dworak, Camrin Neal, Lela Mae Dworak and Aiden Jordan and her sister Jeree (Turk) Beebout of Ainsworth, NE. A cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary.Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 10 at Faith Community Lutheran Church, with Pastor Dan Hansen officiating.Contributions may be made to the Faith Community Lutheran Church, 9775 Ute Highway, Longmont, CO 80501 or Boulder County Heart Fund, Mrs. Diana Kahn760 Flagstaff Rd., Boulder, CO. 80302.
