Anna Maria Williams, 70 of Longmont, passed away August 4, 2019 at her home. Anna was born December 14, 1948 in Chingford, England to Bronislaw and Anna (Kwasniewska) Niklewski. She grew up in Chingford, England and graduated from Queens College in London with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.On August 16, 1969, she married Julian Stuart Williams in Chingford, England. They were married for 49 years. Anna and Julian immigrated to the United States in 1974. They lived in multiple states (California, Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey and Colorado) over the years while Julian was a University professor. She earned her Masters of Science in Mathematics from Hofstra University, studying part-time while raising the family she loved so much. Anna then worked as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University, Rutgers University and at Middlesex Community College. Anna was a member of St. Francis Assisi Catholic Parish in Longmont, Colorado and, formerly, of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish in Skillman, New Jersey. She loved her family, reading, painting/writing/crafts, baking and playing bridge. She is preceded in death by her parents Bronislaw Niklewski, Anna Niklewska, and one sibling George Niklewski. Anna is survived by her husband, Julian Williams of Longmont and their three children; daughter Maria and her husband Eric Tarsia of Fishkill, NY, son Jan and his wife Rebecca Williams of Longmont and daughter Anna and Keith Rooke of Helmetta, NJ and nine grandchildren; Harrison Tarsia, Hannah Tarsia, Hayden Tarsia, Benjamin Williams, Anastasia Williams, Sean Williams, Owen Williams, Eric Williams and Grace Williams. The funeral will be at St Francis of Assisi in Longmont on August 20th at 10am. In addition, a memorial service at her former parish of St. Charles Borromeo in Skillman, NJ is currently being scheduled.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
