Hello my brother.  I am feeling a little better physically but emotionally I am a mess.  Losing you has been the most difficult thing in life I have ever faced as you know I have faced some terrible things, but of my own doing. I still think of picking up the phone to call you then the sadness kicks in when I realize I can't.  I lay in bed thinking about you and the tears return even worst than before.  My heart hurts as I wish it were just a dream and you were still here.  You always kept me and others in laughter and as your brother was proud to have you as mine.  Someday we will be together soon and we will ride down the riverbed again, or fly over it full speed ahead. I love you my brother as losing you was like the world ending for me, as my world has ended without you.

Hello my brother, I know you are looking down at all that love you.  My love for you has grown more and more everyday.  I have been so sick lately, 10 trips to the E.R. and 18 doctors later and they finally diagnosed me with Lyme Disease. I am just a shell of a man right now and I am in bed most the time.  The antibiotics are killing me but I have to keep taking them.  I hope that when my time comes God will send me to you, mom and dad.  There is not a day that passes when I reach for the phone to call you then I have to catch myself.  It is like a dream, a horrible dream that you are not here.  I lay in bed sometimes crying for you to come home.  I wander around the house crying your name time and time again.  You are gone in body, but your spirit and thoughts of all the good times we had together are in my mind always.  You were and still one hell of a man. Never asking anyone for anything and always a calm and humorous person.  You cannot imagine how much I love and miss you.  Before you left it was like I did not know what to do for you.  I guess my brotherly love felt that there was something wrong.  I wish it would have me that passed as I know how much you love your sons, your grandchildren and life at its fullest.  I will never get over this, and I wish not to as you give me hope and inspiration to live.  I love you so much brother, Jr.

Hi Rick,  For some reason your name keeps calling to me, you have no idea how much I miss your daily visits, your jokes and your growling at Rozzie that would have us laughing so hard. But all I have is great memories that me and the boys will never forget.  All our mini trips were always fun when you went with us , I am forever grateful to you for being a great male figure to my sons and they have the best memories of you also.  One day we shall meet again but for now I have your picture in your same corner where you would sit and watch sports n movies. I get to see your smile everyday and night....love and miss you.

Hello brother, Hope God doesn't mind me burning up your page.  You know I have been through many tough times, rough roads, stuck between so many hard places and rocks but nothing I ever Imagined or ever thought possible could ever hit me as hard as losing your brotherly love. I guess you are not here physically but Im my eyes, soul and heart you are still near. I still cry about you all the time but I feel better after I have had a good cry because my tears eventually evaporate into heaven.  They are tears of missing you but I will always have you in my heart and soul.  I will always look to you for guidance and for you to put in a good word in with God and Jesus to let me into the gates to be you, mom, dad and everyone else. Hello Mi Hermano,  I hope you are looking down upon us and your pains have eased, mind has quieted and your new life has begun.  I guess we are here on this earth for when we leave our bodies we are judged to be by Gods side. I miss your laughter, jokes and mostly the brotherly love I have deeply embeded in my heart. I was fortunate to work side by side with Richard for 6yrs and one thing i could always count on was his humor and his music. The passion he showed was never matched by any of his coworkers and he would always amaze me with his ability to name a song before it even got going...i just found out today about his passing and to be honest, i am still in shock...I'll miss you Richard....thank you for being apart of my life for even such a brief time, i will never forget...

My baby brother,  I cry for you every night when I lay down.  I cry for you always as your concern for me was always on your mind.  My heart is heavy for you my brother and I would have traded places with you in a heart beat to save your life.  You have a beautiful family with son's and grandchildren that adore you.  The past few years my love for you has changed so deep that there wasn't a time of the day that I reached for the phone to call you and I still do that even today when you are gone.  I have always been able to come to you with an open mind knowing in my heart that you would guide me in the right direction even though I am your older brother.  I remember once you told me that you looked up to me but it is I that looked up to you as my hero.  I have always been so proud of you, bragged about you and it is so hard losing you it hurts all day, all night, every time I close my eyes.  I wake up and my broken heart drops as I miss you so much.  I ask the lord why?, but we should not question that.  The other night when I lay my head down I saw your face and you told me that I would see you again soon.  I believe that in my mind, my soul and especially in my heart.
