Richard Dick Allan Dixon

Peacefully with his family by his side at LHSC-University Campus on Wednesday December 22, 2010, Richard “Dick” Dixon of London in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Dulong/Jeffery). Loving father of Lisa Carter (Wayne) of Parkhill, Jeannise Hodgins (Ken Fitchett) of South Huron, Rick (Clara) of Calgary A.B., Ryan (Amanda Van HooyDonk) of Parkhill, Renee MacLachlan of London, Rosanne Davidson (John) of Barrie, Randy Jeffery (Lorie) of London. Cherished Papa Dick of Anthony, Justin, Sarah, Jessica, Aimee, Emily, Marco, Emily, J.J., Michael, Patrick, Grace, Elana, MacKenzie. Dear brother and brother in law of Liz Dixon of Prescott, Mary Dixon of London, Don (Sharon), Norman (Betty) both of Parkhill, Betty Goulden of Thornhill. Dick will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Sadie Dixon, 2 brothers Lloyd, Lawrence and a brother in law Graham. A special thank you to Dr Andrew Whynott and Dr Goldszmidt and the 4th floor nursing staff at University hospital. Friends will be received at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St, London) on Monday December 27, 2010 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and Tuesday 10-11 am where the funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Tuesday December 28, 2010 at 11am. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery to follow. In memory of Dick contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario would be appreciated.
