Predeceased by her husband Wasyl (Bill) Slozka in 2010. Dear Mother to Werner Slozka (Myrna) of Calgary and Susan Sarrasin (Michael) of London. Loving Oma to Ryan Slozka (Cristy), Gina Sutherland (Ryan Shay), Craig Slozka (Jessica), Amy Sarrasin (Brent Brooks) and Justin Sarrasin (Hailey). She was loved by 10 great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by her nieces Ingeborg Krienke and Helgard Sass and families in Germany and her good friend Marta Ruikis in Illinois.
The family held a private funeral service and burial prior to this notice, honouring her life in an intimate gathering.
