Bernice Evelyn Morris

On August 17, 2011, our Mother, Grandma and Great-Grandma passed away in her 93rd year at the Dearness Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Tom (June 1992). Loving mother of Ken Morris of London; Karen McIntyre and husband Chuck of Hickson and Gail Douglas and spouse Art McKenzie of London. She will be missed by grandchildren Mike Douglas, Wendi Redman, Sandi Douglas, Dariel McIntyre, Dan (Joanne) McIntyre, Stephanie McIntyre and 8 great grandchildren. Bernice was born in Owen Sound, Ontario and is predeceased by brothers Colin, Gordon, Charles, Nelson Siegrist and only sister Eileen Brown. Bernice’s true joy in life was her family, including many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff in the Oakdale Unit at Dearness for all the kind and loving care extended to Bernice over the past years. Also a very special heartfelt thank you from our family to all the staff for making us feel like part of your family. It will never be forgotten. Visitation at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St., London) will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2011, one hour prior to the Funeral Service to be held at 11a.m. Private family interment in Oxenden Cemetery, Oxenden, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
