William L. Griffin

He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dorothy (nee Kolito) Griffin and is survived by his children Barbara Layman, Joan Nowak and Robert (Margaret) Griffin. He is the grandfather of 9, the great grandfather of 11 and the great great grandfather of Jayden.

Friends may visit Bill's family during a visitation in his honor on Sunday September 23, 2012 from 3 pm until 8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile in Livonia, Michigan 48154. During the visitation, a Rosary Service will be prayed in Bill's honor. The funeral home is located on the north side of W. Six Mile, east of I-275 and Newburgh Road.

Funeral services for Bill will take place on Monday September 24, 2012 at St. Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh Road in Livonia, Michigan 48154. He will lie in state at the church from 10 am until his Funeral Mass at 10:30 am celebrated by Fr. Jim McNulty. The church is located on the west side of Newburgh Road, south of W. Five Mile Road.
