Vito Lawrence Minni, age 79, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025. He was born on March 31, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, to his loving parents, Otto and Antoinette Minni. Vito’s passing leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion.
He was the beloved husband of the late Corinne Minni for 47 years. Vito was a loving father to John (Paula) Minni, and a cherished grandfather to Gavin and Alex Minni. He was also a dear brother to Carole Cameron, and a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews. Vito was a beloved brother-in-law to Rosemarie (the late Pete) Komlen and Shirley (Larry) Amico.
Vito retired from Ford Motor Company, where he worked as a Purchasing Manager for many years. Throughout his life, Vito was a steadfast and devoted parishioner of St. Colette Catholic Church in Livonia. His deep faith remained strong, even during times of health struggles, and he found peace and strength through his unwavering belief.
In his personal life, Vito was known for his keen sense of humor, his love for golfing, and, most of all, for his devotion to family. He treasured spending quality time with his loved ones and made every moment count. Vito’s laughter, wisdom, and warmth will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will take place on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m., at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. (in state at 10:30 a.m.) at St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Rd., Livonia, MI 48152.
