I am so very sorry to hear of Terri’s passing. We lost touch after high school, but I will forever cherish the memories of our “adventures “ together in our youth. My heart goes out to her family. Rest peacefully  my friend. 🙏🏻

Last I saw Terri, I was at her house in 2014 at a party for her in celebration of her 10 year triumph from cancer. I worked many years with her at Ford Motor Company and have fond memories of her at work and at SWE events. My husband Greg also worked with Terri and had the opportunity to work in the UK with her. He shares wonderful memories of the hospitality she shone to the group visiting from the US. May Perpetual Light shine upon her and her soul rest in peace. My deepest condolence to Doug and Terri’s loving family.

I had the privilege to get to know Terri 20+ years ago when we were working hard to launch the industry first and most fuel-efficient hybrid SUV, the Escape Hybrid.  Ever since, we worked and, yes, travelled together on various electrification technologies and brought them to production.  

Her kindness, care, selflessness and positive attitude to life were a bright light in many of our life.  She will forever shine in many of our memories.  Rest in Peace Terri.

There are so many wonderful memories with Terri.  This photo was on the cruise during our 2 week trip to Alaska.  We met through mutual friends at Ford and shared many common bonds from that day for over 25 years. I will always treasure Terri's positive attitude in everything she did.

Dear Doug, 

We are so sorry for your loss of Terri.  She was such a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.   I know we kind of lost track of each other in the past few years after our move to CT, but I was always hoping you two would visit us some day in CT and we could have some fun together.  We always appreciated the Christmas cards and learning of your latest adventures together.   Terri and I got to know each other when she worked for Dan in Advanced Engineering on the VDE program.  Terri was always so organized, very competent, and conscientious at her work.   My wife got the biggest kick when Terri invited us to your wedding.  We had such a great time, and I still remember all the fun, the dancing and how happy everyone was, especially you and Terri.  She met my wife, Dr. Pat LoRusso, and oncologist at Karmanos, again almost 9 years later at a Gilda's club event after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.   I believe Pat took care of her in her initial treatment until she moved to Yale in 2014.   My wife Pat always spoke highly of Terri, no details on her condition due to patient privacy policies and ethics.  But it made me feel good that Pat was taking care of her because I know she is passionate and very compentent in how she cares for her patients, and tries her best to provide the best treatment options.    

So we now move into a new life on this planet without Terri with us at our sides, but I know she is with our Lord and with us in spirit watching over us.  Please reach out any time, Doug;  you are always welcome our way if you want to visit, maybe we can catch a Mets game (but not a Yankee game, I'm still a Tigers and Lions fan).

I worked with Terri for many years and she always had nice things to say and was so positive about everything. My condolences to her husband Doug and the entire family.

It is very sad to hear of loss of Terri. 

A sharp and good person, who having later joined Electric Vehicles Team, has quickly learnt both technology and applied her exeperience/knowledge for the advancement of Technology and Team Spirit at Ford. 

I convery my sincere condolences to the family members and pray that her soul attains peace and that her loved ones the strength during this difficult period.

Terri and I met over 40 years ago in jr high school. Back then we were often seated in classes by alphabetical order, so Terri and I sat next to each other a lot and we became friends.  Our friendship continued through high school, college and beyond.  After I moved away for my job, we would get together at holidays and on vacation adventures to various places around the world.  We both loved to travel. I will miss Terri very much.  She was a wonderful friend.

Terri was my very first mentor through the Women of Ford organization when I joined the company. She was an outstanding role model who reinforced my ideas of work-life balance, working across organizations and sharing knowledge freely.  There were times she filled the role as my "work mom", a trusted friend and a reliable work partner; each interaction with her was positive. Terri was a trail blazer for other women in engineering and I am so thankful for all her contributions. I've missed Terri since her retirement and am really saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

My sympathies for your loss.  Terri and I worked together back around 2006 and even after that project ended, in the dark days of the Great Recession 2008 she cold called me to ask how I was doing and let me know if I was asked to find a new job that I can call upon her and that everything is going to turn out ok.  I was not aware of her diagnosis at that time, and her outreach during her own personal struggle speaks volumes to her character! Thank you.

To Doug and Terri’s loving family - I met Terri when we both worked in Powertrain Software in the EEE Building. Terri’s journey through breast cancer treatment and life course paralleled my late wife Gail’s quite closely and we shared our thoughts and feelings a few times. Terri is one of the people that stands out in my memory as a dedicated, intelligent and caring person.  I offer my prayers to her loving husband and family. Rest in Peace Terri.

Doug and family, I’m so sorry for your loss.  Terri was a wonderful and compassionate person. I enjoyed working with her at Ford.  I’m glad you both came to my house a couple of years ago for a small Ford get together. You will be in my prayers. 💕 I won’t be able to make it Sunday.
