Roy Robert Patterson passed away July 9, 2017. Loving husband of the late Sarah. Beloved father of Karen Hanner, Sally (Gregg) Werner, the late Debbie, and the late Sherrie. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Gregory, Dustin, Sara, Brenda, Kyle, and Lisa and great-grandfather of 14. Dear brother of Denise and Robert.
Roy was a proud veteran of the US Navy and retiree of Ford Motor Co. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending much time hunting and fishing. He was an incredible and intelligent man. His talents allowed him to conquer any venture he ever took on. He built his own cottage on Harsens Island where he spent many years of quality time with his wife and daughters.
He became an accomplished woodworker and enjoyed spending time in his workshop on his 15 acre estate in Fowlerville, Michigan.
Visitation Friday, July 14 from 3-7pm, with a Funeral Service at 7pm, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia.
