She was the beloved wife of Rollo Wilkinson for 69 wonderful years. Loving mother of Janice (Kevin) Green and Jeff (Jayne) Wilkinson. Cherished grandmother of Erica (Will) Jones, Andy (Jodie) Wilkinson, Scott (Jenny) Green, Kristyn (Dustin) McGowan, Michael Green, Max (Lexy) Wilkinson, Jack Wilkinson, and Nathon Brinkman. Proud great-grandmother of 11. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Mildred Lighthall, her siblings, Marvin Lighthall and Evelyn Pauley, and her son Gary Wilkinson.
Marilyn was a dedicated member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Livonia, MI for 56 years. She was actively involved in the Stephen Ministry program at St. Matthews for over 7 years as a grief counselor, offering comfort and support to those in need.
A memorial visitation for Marilyn will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 30900 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Cure Alliance and Henry Ford Hospice.
