Helen Irene Wakula, age 96, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Helen was born May 28, 1925. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Wakula. Loving mother of Dennis (Rose) Dostert, Sharon (Gary) Houser and Lauren Wakula, step-mother of Dennis (late Karen) Wakula and Sandra (Fred) Calderone. Cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 18.
Helen loved being a grandmother and great grandmother and loved all animals. She will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's honor can be made to the Michigan Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday September 18, 2021 at 11:00AM until time of service at 12:00PM at Harry J Will Funeral Home in Livonia.
