My condolences. I had the honor of working with Gene at Ford having first met him there nearly 40 years ago. He was well respected and liked by his colleagues and will be deeply missed.

I am truly saddened by the loss of you husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  May God's love give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.  May the care of those around you give you strength to move forward.  
Gene's smile was infectious! He was so passionate about his convictions. He lived his faith! We will all miss him dearly!

Barb, Tara, Matthew,  we just heard about Gene's passing late Tues evening, and were SO saddened at the news!!  Such great memories of working with you guys on the Small Group Committee at St. Michael, which "morphed" over time into a full-blown Discipleship Committee.  Plus all of the socializing ... so much fun ;-)  Wish we could attend the service Wed, but I am actually singing at the funeral of a close friend at Cornerstone EPC in Brighton, so am pretty much tied up. Barbara, Tara, and Matthew- I worked with Gene for many years at Ford. Gene was a very kind hearted,  good man.  I can easily tell you he was well respected at Ford, and always made it known his love for family and faith. Gene lived a good life, and he is in a better place, we will pray for all of you!

Barbara, Tara and Matthew .. We were sadened to hear about your loss. Our prayers are with all of you and your extended family. Larry always enjoyed working closely with Gene and glad that we both had the opportunity to retire when we did to enjoy a less stressful life. My thoughts and prayers with the family at the sad time.  I had the pleasure to work with many years at Ford Motor Company.  Gene was a mentor to significant amount engineers though out his career. We are very thankful for his leadership and dedication over the years.

Gene was an awesome role model to me when I started at Ford.  Such a dedicated man, a good friend and kind and spiritual man.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.  My deepest condolences.
