Carl was the cherished partner of the late Susan Fitzpatrick, their bond enduring over 40 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love, and laughter.
Carl's parents, Adam and Josephine Billings, and his siblings, Emma (Bob) Bristow and Edward Billings, all preceded him in passing. Also his beloved furry companion, Dudley, whose loyal presence brought joy and comfort to Carl's life.
Carl found excitement in the world of stocks and investing, was a loyal Tigers fan, loved his A&W root beer and loved listening to Frank Sinatra & Elvis Presley.
Among his simple pleasures in life were his daily meals at IHOP and Senate Coney Island, where he indulged in his favorite dishes and visited with the waitresses.
Carl's legacy extends beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of friends and loved ones who were fortunate enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Carl's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to his heart, reflecting his compassion and generosity toward those in need.
