Sharon H. Sachs, 73, of Livingston, NJ passed away on Sun., Dec. 22, 2019. Born in Newark, NJ, Mrs. Sachs lived in West Orange, NJ for many years. She worked for the Essex County Division of Social Services for over 25 years, retiring in 2006. She was an active participant at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel.
Beloved wife of Roger Sachs for 51 years, loving mother of Stacy Kelsey (Robert) and Marc Sachs, devoted grandmother of Ryan and Justin Kelsey, cherished sister of Arlene Green (Daniel) and Joel Wolff, and also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, NJ. Burial to follow at B’nai Jeshurun Cemetery, Hillside, NJ. Shiva will be observed at Temple Sharey Tefilo Israel, 432 Scotland Rd., South Orange, NJ on Thursday following the burial and on Friday from 1-3 pm.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Sharon’s memory to Jewish Family Services of Metro West, Jewish Family Services of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties, or The Market Street Mission.
