Neil was born on July 9, 1957 in the Philippines, to parents, Edilberto Magsaysay and Patricia Magsaysay. He graduated from San Sebastian School and continued his education at Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Metro Manila. Neil went on to establish a career as a Sterile Processing Technician, working at Cooperman Barnabas.
His infectious laugh and smile brightened any room. He loved being the jokester of the group and loved making everyone laugh. He knew when to take things seriously, but knew when to lighten up and have a good time. He would always say, “Life is too short, every minute is precious. It’s a gift not to be wasted”. He was also a big foodie. He showed his love through food. He loved to cook his favorite Filipino dishes and loved to grill steak and fish out in the backyard. He also loved spending time in the backyard. He loved to garden and grow vegetables, found comfort in mowing the lawn, and loved fixing up his motorcycle. Dad was kind, loving, considerate and thoughtful. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved life.
Neil is survived by his wife of 35 years, Christina Magsaysay; and daughter, Lauren.
