Nancy Boehm Collins

Nancy Boehm Collins, age 92, of Livingston, NJ, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday March 15, 2022.Nancy was born November 23, 1929, in New Brunswick, NJ, and graduated from New Brunswick High School in 1947. She was a proud 1952 alumna of New Jersey College for Women (Douglass College).

Nancy was devoted to her family and her faith. She was a daily communicant of St. Philomena Church and a member of the Rosary Society, Rosary Maker’s Guild and a church greeter. Nancy loved to sew, knit, listen to and attend operas and symphonies, read mysteries, bird watch in her backyard and travel with family and friends. In addition, Nancy had a part-time career at Burrelle’s Press Clipping Service in Livingston for many years.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Charles F. Collins, with whom she raised 4 children: Jean (Howard) Fingerhut, David (Donna) Collins, Emily (John) Grasso and Glenn (Nancy) Collins, her loving grandchildren Alex (Mandy), Christopher, Doug, Leslie, Luke, Daniel, Jack, Brian and great-grandchildren Bentley and Rylie and her dear brother Robert Boehm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Philomena Church 396 South Livingston Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Tuesday March 22, 2022 at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. The family will receive their friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston on Monday March 21, 2022 from 4-8 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Seeing Eye, Inc. (Guide dog school), or the National Wildlife Federation.
