Jane Dreier Feldman

Jane Dreier Feldman, 88, of West Orange, NJ, passed away on May 26, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Jane was born in New York City and later moved to Plainfield, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mildred Dreier (Rosenthal). She graduated with both a BS degree from Moravian College and an RN from Philadelphia’s Albert Einstein Hospital. Jane initially worked as a visiting nurse, and later, as a public health nurse for West Orange for 25 years while she raised her three children there. The children lived close to their mother throughout their lives and helped care for her during her illness. They are wonderful and attentive, and she appreciated all that was done for her. Jane is survived by her children, Richard (Donna), Judy, Mark (Sarah), her grandchildren, Jacob, Maddie and Emma Feldman, her brother, Judge William Dreier (Sandra), her niece, her nephew, grand-nieces and nephews and many cousins. She loved them all, and they all loved her.

She will be laid to rest at a private grave-side service at the Rosenthal family mausoleum in Brooklyn, NY, on May 31 ,2022, under the auspices of Temple Sharey Tefilo - Israel, and the Burnheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel. Shiva will be at the home of Mark and Sarah Feldman on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., services at 7:00 P.M. Contributions in Jane’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
