Elizabeth Mita, beloved wife of the late Anthony F. Mita, passed away on October 28, 2015. She was the loving Mother of Anthony (daughter-in-law Cindy), Marianne (son-in-law John), Rocco (daughter-in-law Wendy), Michael and David; Grandmother to Lauren, Eric, Jackie, Margot, Brett, Kyle, Jake and Colby; and great-grandmother to Tripp and Audrey. She was the beloved sister of Grace Cocuzza and Lucille Pacchia, Jerry, Larry (deceased), and Anthony Russomanno; and loving sister-in-law of Claire Russomanno, Cynthia Russomanno, and Stella Lafauci.
Elizabeth resided most of her life in Livingston and Lavallette, NJ. She was a founding member of the Livingston American Little League, and a long-time member of the Livingston Women’s Club, Rosary Society and Church of St. Philomena's Choir.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, from 4 – 8pm. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, Livingston, on Wednesday, November 4 at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey.
