Randy Clayton Michau

Randy was preceded in death by his father George Terry Michau, his grandfather Herbert Denzel Mitchell and a special Brother- in-law and friend, Derek Baggett.

Randy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Allison, and their two sons, Gavin and Garrett of Shannon Hills. Other survivors include his Grandmother Lorene Mitchell of Searcy, his parents Donna and Charles Hendershot, his brother Bryan (Amber) all of Mabelvale and a Step-sister, Ayley Bridges of Georgia. Also left behind to grieve are many aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews including Emily, Isaac, Luke. Aaron, Brenden, Ethen, and Josh as well as a great niece, Tenzlee.

Randy enjoyed spending time with his many friends and coworkers at Clearview Digital. All that knew him loved him dearly. He was an avid golfer who also excelled when shooting pool and playing ping pong. He was also a talented musician. After graduating from North Little Rock High School, he attended Henderson State University on a music scholarship awarded due to his superior skills playing a trombone. He was a proud member of the Showband of Arkansas and a devoted Reddie.

Randy attained an Associate’s degree of Science from Pulaski Tech and went on to be an integral part of the staff at Clearview, where he served as Vice-President and Director of Operations.

Randy loved helping others and went out his way to fix things for everybody. He was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist where he served as assistant song director and mascot for many years during VBS. He loved surprising people with trips and gifts. He had recently taken up woodwork, following in the steps of his Pa-paw Mitchell. He created beautiful benches for his family and friends.

He had a wonderful sense of humor and he always lived life to the fullest. Whenever you got in the car with Randy you weren’t sure where you would end up or how long you would be gone. He was a devoted, loving Father, family man, Co-worker, and Friend.

Randy will be dearly missed and always loved.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2022 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. Brother Paul Carter will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at McPherson Cemetery in Sardis.
