Mattie Lee Baldwin, 91, of Cabot was born on August 30, 1927 and passed away on November 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Ezra Baldwin, son William “Bill” Floyd Baldwin and her parents William Houston Barham and Elsie Jordan Barham. She is survived by her grandchildren, William Todd Baldwin, Spence Clay Baldwin, Christian Blair Baldwin and Whitney Brooke Dickens and her husband Chris, also her sister Patricia and four great granddaughters.
Mattie worked for the State of Arkansas for 36 years before retiring. She enjoyed country music & live concerts, even working at event venues in early retirement to keep active. She loved sharing stories about her son Bill, husband Ezra, her grandkids, vacations & casino trips with everyone. She never lost her sharp mind or missed even the smallest detail. Mattie “Nona” was a special history book for her grandkids, making sure that memories from the past were never lost.
We will forever be grateful for the kindness of her friends, neighbors & caregivers who continued to make her life full every day.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot at 2:00 pm.
