Mary was also a member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (OCDS), serving her community faithfully as President, Formation Director, secretary and counselor for many years.
Survivors include her son, Kent Armstrong, and daughters Aimee Armstrong Long (Steve) and Diana Carlsen Lett, along with many nephews and nieces, including Pat, Robin and Clemmie Watson. Her beloved grandchildren are Joseph, Ashlee, Emalee and Leslee Long, Jason Lett (Diane), Jim Lett and Adam Tate.
Her great-grandchildren include Madeline Tate Inzinna, Charlee Edmonson, Eva Long, Ceci Long, and Margo, Nina and Phoebe Lett. She was also blessed with two great-great-grandchildren, Banks and Harper Inzinna.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, B. T. (Turner) Armstrong, her son Robert Carlsen, and her grandson Robert Long.
A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00a.m. on Friday morning at Our Lady of the Holy Souls, March 15th, 2024, with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
