James "Jim" Arthur Gruber Jr.

James is survived by his wife of 46 years Theresa Gruber; his sons Jesse Gruber (Lauri) and Justin Gruber (Diane); grandchildren Jason Gruber, Jared Gruber and Jacob Gruber; sisters Peggy Hoffman and Karen Miller.

James worked for Harcros for 38 years in Arkansas and Texas.

James loved to ride Harleys . He enjoyed wood and leather crafts. He built bird houses, squirrel houses and owl houses. He was always making something. James could always be found near the smoker at holidays. James was very creative and always finding ways to do things.

James was a very good husband and exceptional father. He was 100% a family man.

James was a simple man and it didn't take much to make him happy. He was a very dedicated man to his family and had a very strong work ethic.

James will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth 5800 W 12th Street on Thursday, January 6 from 5 to 7pm Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park Friday, January 7th at 10am
