Edward Louis Brucks (“Ed”) of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on March, 24, 2020 at the age of 78. Ed graduated from Little Rock Catholic High School in 1959. He married Linda Sue McNatt, his wife of 59 years, on November 26, 1960. Ed joined the United States Air Force serving his country from July of 1960 to February of 1964. After fulfilling his military commitment, Ed worked for Chicopee Manufacturing Company and retired after 30 years of employment. He was an active member of Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church for over 50 years. Ed will be remembered by many for his attention to and care for the elderly and shut-ins. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Clara Brucks and his older brother Charles Brucks. He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Brucks; his sister, Elizabeth Blackmer; his three sons, Michael (Theresa) Brucks, Robert (Alicia) Brucks, Christopher (Heather) Brucks; and three grandchildren, Justin Brucks, Lindsey Brucks and Hannah Brucks.
Due to restrictions imposed as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the family has elected to a have a small private family service at this time to be followed up with a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you consider donating to the American Diabetes Association. The decedent will be interred at the North Little Rock Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
