David P. Packard

David Paul Packard, 73, of Longs, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at McLeod Health Seacoast in Little River, SC. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, on November 7, 1947, he was the son of the late Francis Packard and Jean Packard.

Mr. Packard was of the Methodist faith. He retired from Yellow Freight in 2010 and relocated from York, PA to North Myrtle Beach, SC in 2013. David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed beach vacations with his family for over 20 years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. David was a proud supporter and longtime member of the NRA.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Warnkin Packard; son, Michael Packard (Miranda); son, Bradley Packard; daughter, SueAnn Packard Webb (Richard); mother, Jean Walsh Packard; sister, Ruby Jean Packard (Hansell Patterson); sister, Kaye Feenstra (Nicholas); grandchildren, Sidney, Zackary, Gavin, Leah, Alyssa, Jeran, Frances, and Quintin.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family of Mr. David Packard.
