Bob, you left us so unexpectedly. I just want to share some memories of you. Thanks for all the smiles, your big heart and your gracious attitude. Your love of family always showed. The memorial photos were great. I didn’t know you were an MP in the Army. It must have been that firm voice of yours. You always were very aware of the world around you, very knowledgeable. I remember how we wanted to start a new business together...but for wishful thinking. Then, there was the time I was walking my dog Quincy in the park and you stuck your head out of the house and yelled, “Hey Scott, who’s walking who?” Funny...but true. Years ago, I bought my son Ryan his first 2-wheel bicycle. Ryan was anxious to learn to ride. I thought, “I’ll get Ryan out on that bike real soon.” But I was always busy. “Busy” in the garage one day, I turned to look outside...and there was Ryan, on his bike, and steadying Ryan down the sidewalk was Bob Brown. “Hey, I was gonna do that.” I had missed an opportunity. Thanks, from Ryan. It was a simple act of kindness. You never knew it, but you taught me a lesson that day. Life is fast and short. Never let a memorable moment in life wait for you, especially with the ones you love. Thanks Bob. It was good to know you were just a couple of doors down the street. You are missed as you are loved.
    
PS:   Bob, it took a while, but I didn’t miss this one...and our Bears are 7 and 3.

Although we new Bob a short time, he was a pleasure to have in our little community at Bloomingdale Horizons. He always had a "Hello" and a smile whenever we saw him.  He will be  missed.

My family and I are deeply saddened by the loss of Uncle Bob.  I will always remember him as the fun loving uncle that always made everyone laugh.

We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Bob's untimely death.
May his soul forever rest in peace and may the Lord comfort his family and friends.
