Michael D. Heim

Michael D. Heim, age 64, passed away on September 7, 2024. Loving husband of 40 years to Deborah Heim; Beloved father to Meagan (Jonathan) Sfrengeu and Courtney (Eric) Simadis; Cherished grandfather to Alina, Audrey, Hunter, and Jackson; Dear brother to Linda (Gary) Pavlik; Uncle and friend to many. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Behrens, brother, Stephen (Maryse) Heim, mother-in-law, Betty Dominski, and father-in-law, Daniel Dominski.

Mike had many passions in life including, but not limited to, photography, stained glass, NASA, fantasy football, scratch off lottery tickets, and video poker. In his free time he loved to spend time playing Frisbee with his yellow lab, Sandy, and traveling, specifically his yearly fishing trip to Canada with his friends. But most importantly, and above all else, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Memorial Visitation for Michael will be on Monday, September 23, from 10 AM – 12 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln, Lisle, IL, where a Memorial Service will follow at 12 PM. Inurnment at Holy Family Cemetery in Downers Grove, IL to follow.
