Elma Famatid

Elma Famatid (nee Tabajonda), age 79, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 9, 2024. She was born on November 5, 1945 in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, Philippines to Inocencio, Sr. and Andrea (nee Mendoza) Tabajonda. Elma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who spent over 42 years serving others as a dedicated registered nurse.

Elma is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Romeo; children Rommel (Erik), Rexel (Christine), Ellayne (Cortez); grandchildren Riley, Drew, Parker, Scarlett; stepmother Dalia, siblings Romeo, Pancho, Marieto, Mirasol, Jennifer, Joanna, Joseph; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Inocencio, Sr. and Andrea, and siblings Inocencio, Jr. and Marilou.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave, Lisle, Illinois. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 10:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1501 W. Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
