Virginia I Diana, age 62, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Virginia was a mom, grandma, aunt and sister who loved to dance (especially salsa). She was always the life of the party, had a biggest heart and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Virginia's favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, where her passion for cooking truly shined the most. She was famous for her chicken soup/ ham/ rice/ potato salad, and macaroni salad. She always wanted to put a smile on people's faces and put out positive vibes out into the world. Her door was always open for anyone in trouble or needed a hot plate of food or something as simple as a nice hot shower and place to stay for the night. She always had open ears and open arms for people that need to get things off their chest. Her first question when being greeted by Virginia would always be if you had eaten or if you wanted something more to eat. She treated her children's friends as if they were her own children and was everyone's Titi. With her morals and love instilled to her children, they will continue living her legacy to show love, respect and support to everyone and to live life to the fullest.
Virginia worked hard all her life, whether at work or at home, to take care of her 3 boys to make sure they always had food on the table and a supportive mother behind them every step of the life. She never stopped treating her sons like her babies and did all she could for them. She always knew what to say when times got tough, always prepared her children for the outside world and challenges to follow whether it was issues with ladies, financial problems, personal dreams, or to stand up for themselves.
Virginia's hobbies included listening to music from her favorite artists like Marc Anthony and Hector Lavoe, decorating the house, shopping therapy, getting dressed up for events, traveling to Puerto Rico, enjoying the summer season and soaking in the sun on the shore, and her loving nieces, nephews, and siblings (no matter what had happened in the past). She gave them everything they wanted and always gave them a big hug and kiss.
