Solange Fernandes, age 71, of Cranford, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024. She was born on May 24, 1953, in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Solange was a dedicated business owner who worked hard to build a successful life for herself and her family. Known for her strong faith and religious devotion, she was an active member of her community, finding joy in her love for cooking, gardening, and sharing her passion with others. Solange was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife, always putting her family at the center of her life. She is survived by her daughter Bruna, her beloved grandchildren Adriano and Amanda, and her son-in-law Michael.
Her life was a testament to perseverance, but more than that, it was a beacon of joy. She saw the good in everyone, often before they could see it in themselves. With a laugh that warmed the coldest heart, she lifted the spirits of all who crossed her path. To be in her presence felt as if the weight of the world had suddenly softened.
Her heart beat first and foremost for her beloved daughter, Bruna, and her cherished grandchildren, Adriano and Amanda.
Though her path was not without struggle, she walked it with a spirit that could only be described as radiant—a fighter. Her unique quirks only made her more captivating—a soul that danced with life, even when it trembled.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and unwavering faith. Those who knew her will remember her not just as a mother or a friend, but as a source of light. This light will never fade as it will eternally illuminate the hearts of all those who were graced by her love.
Solange held steadfast to her faith, grounded by the grace of God that seemed to pour through her every word, every action. She was at peace, because she knew that God was within her, guiding her through this world and into the next.
