Patricia White

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Patricia White, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, on December 6, 2023 in Elizabeth, NJ. Patricia “Patty” or “Pat” was born on June 30, 1947 in Elizabeth, NJ, and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Pat was a devoted and loving mother and survived by her two sons, Kenneth and James Battista, and was a cherished grandmother to her five grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Alyssa, Mason, and Laney Battista and by her beloved sister Mary Hathaway.

Pat is predeceased by sister Alice Baffige, mother Rosemarie Moxley and father James Moxley. Patty nicknamed by her friends "Chatty Patty" was loved by all whom she knew. She loved hanging out with her friends and having a good time from dinners, going to Dover to watch NASCAR races, trips to Vegas, and summer vacations down in Pt. Pleasant Beach. She also enjoyed charter fishing off of the Atlantic Star out of the Atlantic Highlands, NJ or The Gambler out of Pt. Pleasant, NJ. She also enjoyed watching offshore racing. As big as her mouth was, her heart was bigger..she may have cursed you out a time or two but would still give you the shirt off her back if needed.

During her professional career she wore many hats. Some of those hats included working for the Ocean County Sheriff Department under Chief Carl Hooper. She also worked for her family business J.C.Moxley & Son. and eventually down the road ended up owning her own consulting service, White Transportation Services from which she retired.

Patty will be dearly missed and always remembered. Rest in peace.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Friends and family are invited to gather at the funeral home Wednesday, December 13, 2023 , 9:00AM. A prayer service will take place from 11AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 220 Mt Olivet Ave, Newark, NJ 07114.
