Miguel A Hernandez

Miguel was born in Moca, Puerto Rico in 1945 to Francisco Hernandez and Leonarda Lorenzo, who loved him whole heartedly and raised him teaching him to value and love others unconditionally. He always welcomed everyone with open arms and wanted his children to do the same. His love for nature and family life brought him peace and joy, which will always be remembered. Miguel spent 35 years of his life with dedicated service to the public he started his career working at St. James hospital in housekeeping and continued his education to further his career working as a electrocardiogram and respiratory technician. Always looking to help others.

He leaves behind his wife Lydia Hernandez of 56 years of marriage. His daughter Awilda Hernandez, His son Michael J. Hernandez, and daughter-in-law Nathalie Hernandez, his grandchildren Julissa, Angelica, Jasmine Medina, Hailey, and Michael Angel Hernandez. Great grandchildren Jade and Alexander Betancurt His Brother Felix, His Sister Lidia Hernandez and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Miguel was preceded in death by His father Francisco Hernandez, Mother Leonarda Lorenzo, His Sister Miguela (Guela) Hernandez, Sister Sinforiana (Fora) Hernandez and Sylvia (Lille) Hernandez.

Everyone that truly knew Miguel, knew he was always happy he had an infectious smile. He loved nature and had a green thumb. He was passionate about food and cooking. loved bringing a good plate to the table for his loved ones to enjoy. Miguel Angel Hernandez will always be remembered and never forgotten in our minds and hearts. He will always be the sunshine that brings a smile to our faces no matter how gloomy the day. We couldn't have asked for a better father and man and will miss him every day. His memory will live in the hearts of those who loved him.
