Maria Luisa Franco

Maria Luisa Franco, beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted servant of the Lord, passed away on December 15, 2023 in Roselle, NJ at the age of 74. Maria was born on August 15, 1949 and lived a fulfilling life dedicated to her family and faith. She grew up to be a strong and independent woman, always determined to make the most out of life. Maria's devotion to the Lord was evident in everything she did, and her faith was a guiding force in her. She spread God’s word by serving as a chaplain for the United Chaplains of America.

Maria enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She was known for her famous flan, which she lovingly made for every family gathering.

Maria was a retired worker, but her true occupation was being a devoted mother and grandmother. Maria is survived by her four daughters: Silvia Garcia, Carmen Mora, Paola Mora, and Diana Sanchez. She was a loving and supportive mother, always there to provide guidance and love to her family.

Maria is survived by her 14 grandchildren: Ruben, Rene, Siarah, Christian, Sabrina, Victor (†), Rebecca, Sebastian, Miranda, Dalila, Daniella, Danniel, Landon and Nathan, and 2 great grandchildren: Siana and Amias who will always cherish the memories they shared with her.

Maria's life was filled with love, compassion, and selflessness. She was a shining example of kindness and generosity, always putting others before herself. Maria's warm and welcoming nature touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held to honor Maria's life and legacy. Maria's spirit will live on through the memories and love she shared with her family and friends. May she rest in peace, knowing she made a positive impact on the world.

A visitation for Maria will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. George Avenue in Linden.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service on Friday, December 22, 2023, 10:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
