at the St. Michaels Hospital in Newark. Joaquim was born April 11, 1946 in Azevinheiro, Portugal to the late Olivia De Jesus and Antonio Antunes.
Joaquim was a chief for the Iberia Restaurant on Ferry St. in Newark, NJ for 43 years until present. All who new him will remember him as a devoted husband, father and grandfather he will be missed by all who knew him.
Joaquim is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years of marriage Donzilia (Amaral) Antunes and his loving daughter Andreia Cunha and her husband Rafael.

A visitation for Joaquim will be held Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Cremation will be Private.
