Barbara was full of love, compassion, character and charisma. Her smile would light up the room and her laugh was highly contagious. Everyone that had the pleasure to know her loved her. She lived life to the fullest and loved every minute of it. She celebrated life and enjoyed time at the casino, playing BINGO, was beyond proud of her Polish heritage, all its fine foods and was an avid New York Yankees fan. She was an active member in the Ladies Auxiliary Post 91 in Elizabeth, NJ and American Legion 232 in Barnegat, NJ.
She was a dedicated and loyal self-employed Medical Transcriptionist for Sky View Transcription for over ten years. Even after working long hours, she devoted her life to her two collies, Leo and Buddy, and 8 cats. She provided food, shelter, warmth and love to her feral cats, protecting them and nurturing them like babies. Above all, her true love was her husband, Chucky. They met when they were in Kindergarten at St. Adalbert School. Growing up on Marshall Street in Elizabeth, they became the best of friends and were married in 1996. A true definition of soul mates. She was a devoted wife to Chuck for 25 years, loving sister to Debbie, Mark and Greg and adoring aunt to Jason, Lauren, Brandon, Ava and Christian. She leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Davia, Rachel and Robin, many cousins and countless friends. She joins her late parents, Helen and Casimir, and is now welcomed at Heaven’s gate by late family and friends.
Her devout faith and devotion to St. Adalbert guided her throughout life. She put her faith, trust and love into God’s hands and he in return brought her to us. She treated everyone like family. She was everyone’s friend and everyone’s confidant and now she’s everyone’s angel. May she rest in peace, free of pain and suffering and continue to watch over everyone that ever had the privilege to know her.
