Patricia Harley, born Nov. 15, 1942, El Campo, TX, born to Vivan and Betty (Jacobson)Drohman . Raised in Deshler, NE, and graduated from Deshler HS in 1961. Attended Kearney College from 1961-1965, graduating with a degree in teaching. Attended U.N.L. 1965-1968, graduating with a B.S. in pharmacy. Married Roderick Harley MD on Aug 6, 1967. Worked at Methodist Hospital in Omaha before moving to Lincoln in 1970, and then worked at the Student Health on the U.N.L. campus for the next 40 years. Pat battled lung cancer for over 3.5 years before expiring on Feb. 24, 2016. She was able to take many trips both seeing her grandchildren and many countries abroad. Most recently she enjoyed a Rhine River cruise with her husband and all three children.
Survived by husband Roderick; children Michele (Tom) Wheeler, Scott (Melissa Gilley-Harley), Stephanie (Jeffrey) Eells; 7 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, and brother William.
Service will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 3:00 pm in Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 4-8pm in Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
